The Indian version of sweet & tangy Mango based pickle that could also be labelled as an Indian preserve with multi-faceted uses. It can be used as a spread on the breakfast toast or a mid-morning / evening snack, make the perfect layering for roti / paratha-based tiffin rolls of your kids in a jiffy. Also pairs well with a Bread Pakora, Mathi or Namak para. Another commonly used name for this pickle is Mango Chunda. You can even infuse cut / sliced dry fruits while preparing this pickled version and use it as a condiment on your dining table or serve it as a snack side to your guests. This is very popular with the diaspora that does love its pickles but does not want them to be too spicy or hot at the same time.
